Governmental Affairs Committee (open to all members)

It takes a team to protect our industry and private property rights! CCAR members and staff work alongside our Illinois REALTORS® Governmental Affairs Director (GAD), Nash Oldenettel, to stay informed and advocate on issues that impact real estate.

The committee strengthens the REALTOR® voice through nonpartisan public policy engagement, legislative advocacy, and community leadership at the local, state, and national levels.

Community and Member Involvement Committee (open to all members)

Help strengthen the connection between REALTORS® and the communities we serve! This committee promotes the REALTOR® image and value through community outreach, volunteer opportunities, public relations, and positive community partnerships. If you enjoy getting involved, giving back, and helping showcase the difference REALTORS® make in our community, this committee is for you!

Meetings: Every other month (1 hour)

Events: Fan & Blanket Drives, coordinating association participation in

Professional Development Committee (open to all members)

Want a voice in CCAR’s education, events, and professional development opportunities? This committee empowers REALTORS® with the education, resources, and experiences they need to grow, adapt, and succeed in an ever-changing industry. With three working groups, there are plenty of ways to get involved, share your ideas, and help create valuable opportunities for fellow members!

Continuing Education for Brokers & Managing Brokers, Post-License
Education. Promotes a sense of belonging for all members. Oversees all CCAR Scholarship programs.

Affiliate Networking Group (open to Affiliate Members)

Help build stronger connections between CCAR’s REALTOR® and Affiliate members! This committee supports and promotes the Business Partner program, creates valuable networking and collaboration opportunities, and helps Affiliate members—those who serve the real estate industry through products and services—stay engaged with CCAR. Working alongside the CCAR Board of Directors, the committee also helps oversee Business Partner activities and funds while supporting CCAR’s mission and strategic priorities.

Meetings: 3-4 times per year (as needed)

Want to stay ahead of the latest trends, tools, and issues shaping real estate while building connections and having fun? Golf Committee (open to all members)

Love golf, networking, and giving back? This committee plans and coordinates CCAR’s Annual Golf Outing, bringing REALTORS® and Affiliate members together for a fun day of connection and friendly competition. The outing also supports CCAR’s annual Fan Drive and Bundles of Warmth Drive through the sale of mulligans.
